Color Application Notes
 
CorelDRAW 8 and 9 and the magicolor 2200
 
Before printing from CorelDRAW 8, 9, and 10, host color correction must be enabled and correctly configured.

Instructions
1. CorelDRAW 8: From the Tools menu, select Options -> Global -> Color Management -> Profiles.
CorelDRAW 9: From the Tools menu, select Color Management -> Profiles.
CorelDRAW 10: From the Tools menu, select Color Management. Set the "Generic CMYK Printer Profile" option to "magicolor 2200" listing with the same resolution as the job to be printed.
2. Set the "Composite Printer" option to OK "magicolor 2200" listing with the same resolution as the job to be printed.
Note: If the "magicolor 2200" color profiles are not on the pull-down list, download the profiles from http://printer.konicaminolta.net/support and copy them into the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM\COLOR directory (for Windows 9x or Windows Millennium) or the \WINNT\SYSTEM32\SPOOL\DRIVERS\COLOR directory (for Windows NT or Windows 2000) on your PC or the ColorSync Profiles folder within the System Folder on your Macintosh.
3. From the Print dialog box, on the Miscellaneous tab check off the "Use Color Profile" option and verify that the "magicolor 2200" profile with the same resolution as the job to be printed is listed below.
4. Select "Set Profiles" to change the "Composite Printer" profile, if needed.
5. Verify that the printer driver option for "Quick Color Configuration" is set to "Automatic Color Control."
