| Instructions |
| 1. From the File menu, select Color Settings. |
| 2. Set the correct "Monitor Profile" for your monitor. |
| 3. Set the "Printer" to "magicolor 2200" and select the listing that has the same resolution as the job to be printed. |
| Note: If the pull-down list contains only "Adobe Illustrator Printer Default"change the "Engine" setting to "Kodak Digital Science ICC CMS." If the "magicolor 2200" color profiles are still not on the pull-down list, download the profiles from http://www.minolta-qms.com/support and copy them into the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM\COLOR directory (for Windows 9x or Windows Millennium) or the \WINNT\SYSTEM32\SPOOL\DRIVERS\COLOR directory (for Windows NT or Windows 2000) on your PC or the ColorSync Profiles folder within the System Folder on your Macintosh. |
| 4. Set the appropriate "Intent" based on your document and purpose. |
| 5. Verify that the printer driver option for "Quick Color Configuration" is set to "Automatic Color Control." |
